Join me for my Sunday Message, the next in the series from the Oracle of the Prophet Habakkuk, "Run with the message, Because Time is running out!"

God's response to the prophet is clear and blunt, "write the message on a tablet so that the messenger may run with it." God was concerned that the message would be publicized but also that it would be permanent. There would be no mistake, He had a plan, and a schedule, everything would work out in due time so don't be impatient, wait for it.

Instead of allowing bitterness and despair to overtake him and drive him away from the Lord, Habakkuk SOUGHT the Lord in the time of crisis by waiting on Him as a watchman on the wall. The word he received was a song of taunting directed toward the Babylonians. They would suffer for their many injustices. But more important there were three reminders for the people of God that would bring them some hope in the face of the judgment that was coming.

"The just shall live by faith." "The Earth shall be filled with God's glory." "The Lord is in His Holy Temple." The church of Jesus Christ today needs to be reminded that we walk by faith, the glory of God is coming to fill the earth, and God is still on His throne and very much in charge.
